How to: Check grammar without running a spell check.
Solution:
Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu, click the 'Grammar' tab, and clear the 'Check Spelling' check box.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The 'Options' dialog box appears.)
2) Click 'Grammar' tab.
3) Clear the 'Check Spelling' check box.
4) Click 'OK'.
5) Run a grammar check:
a) Press CTRL+HOME to move to the beginning of the document.
b) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Grammar...'. (Only the grammar checker begins.)
NOTE: If 'Grammar' does not appear on the 'Tools' menu, it needs to be installed.
c) Correct or ignore errors as found. (After all errors are found, the 'Readability Statistics' dialog box appears.)
d) Click 'OK' to return to the document.
NOTE: To receive an explanation for a specific grammar rule in the 'Grammar' dialog box, click 'Explain'.
